GREEN CHEMISTRY: A Textbook is written especially to meet the requirements of undergraduate and postgraduate students in chemistry of various Universities / Colleges. Green chemistry deals with environmentally benign chemical synthesis. Basic principles of green chemistry and how to plan a green synthesis have been discussed. Organic synthesis using benign green solvents like water, supercritical carbon dioxide ionic liquids, polyethylene glycol and ferrous solvents.
